Who is eligible to participate?
Mission Kida serves Jewish teens, college students, and young adults seeking practical self-defense training in safe, inclusive environments.
Is there a cost to participate?
Training is free for approved participants through our partner studios, thanks to donations and sponsorships.
How long do programs last?
Program duration varies by studio.
Do I need prior martial arts experience?
No experience is required. Our certified instructors teach at all levels, starting from foundational techniques.
Where are classes held?
Programs take place at vetted martial arts studios nationwide. Location availability depends on your region.
Can I choose the martial arts style?
Studios may specialize in different disciplines such as Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu, or Taekwondo. Preferences can be noted on your application.
Is there a program for students transitioning to college?
Yes. We provide additional guidance for students moving from high school to college or entering new community settings.
How do I apply?

For Donors
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. Mission Kida is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Can I designate my gift to a specific cause?
Yes. You can specify whether your donation supports training programs, studio grants, or community outreach.
Can I donate in honor or memory of someone?
Yes. We can acknowledge your gift in honor or memory of a loved one. Include this note with your donation or email us at founder@missionkida.org.
Do you accept in-kind donations?
We accept approved equipment and supplies used for student safety and training. Contact us before donating physical items.
Can I set up recurring donations?
Yes. You can choose monthly giving options to provide steady support for training programs.
Will I receive updates about my impact?
Yes. Donors receive periodic updates highlighting student stories, impact data, and program milestones.
For Partners
What martial arts disciplines do you support?
Mission Kida partners with studios offering certified instruction in Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, and other reputable disciplines.
Do instructors receive compensation?
Yes. Partner studios are compensated for verified student enrollment and participation.
Do I need prior experience teaching safety or youth programs?
Studios must demonstrate experience providing safe, structured classes, ideally with teen or student participants.
Who is responsible for liability coverage?
Studios maintain their own liability insurance and safety protocols. Mission Kida verifies compliance as part of onboarding.
Is Mission Kida expanding nationally?
Yes. We are actively growing our studio and community partnerships across the United States.
What is the time commitment?
Partners typically offer one to two sessions per week, scheduled based on studio availability.
Do partners teach teens as well as adults?
Yes. Many of our programs are designed for both teens and young adults, with age-appropriate content.
